Shettima to Unveil Brigadier Musa Usman's Biography

The public presentation of the biography titled “Brigadier Musa Usman (1940–1991): Service and Impact” will occur at the NAF Conference Centre in Kado, Abuja, at 10:00 am. The book, authored by distinguished journalists Malam Mahmud Jega and Dr. Theophilus Abbah, chronicles Brigadier Musa Usman's life, military career, and governance from 1967 to 1975 in the North-Eastern State, which has since been divided into six states: Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe.

Shettima will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, with Major General IBM Haruna chairing the event. Keynote address will be delivered by Major General (Senator) Ike Omar Sanda Nwachukwu, while Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, the Executive Governor of Borno State, will be the Chief Host.

The book features a foreword by General Dr. Yakubu Gowon, who praised Usman's integrity and contributions to infrastructure in the North East. General Abdulsalami Abubakar also reflected on Usman's early military career.
