Plateau Commissioner Urges APC Unity Ahead of 2027 Elections

On Monday, Davou Jatau, the Plateau State Commissioner for Transportation, addressed members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during a familiarisation visit to the APC wards and districts in the Jos South Local Government Area. He urged party members to refrain from anti-party activities, warning that such actions could weaken the party as the 2027 general elections approach.

Jatau highlighted the importance of supporting the policies and achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang. He called for the resolution of internal disputes through appropriate party channels and emphasized that grievances should be properly channeled.

Jatau praised the Tinubu administration for its efforts to improve the economy, security, and investor confidence in Nigeria. He also noted the state government's focus on peace-building, infrastructure development, and inclusive governance.

Stakeholders at the meeting committed to working for the APC and reconciling aggrieved members while promoting aggressive membership drives in Jos South.
