Sokoto Government Denies Gifting Car and Shop to TikToker, Warns Against Misrepresentation

The Sokoto State Government has denied allegations of gifting a car and shop to TikToker Rahama Sa'idu. The Director-General of Media and Publicity for the Government House, Abubakar Bawa, clarified that the gestures were personal and not connected to the state governor.

The government emphasized that the donations were solely from an individual, not the governor, and cautioned against misrepresenting such gestures in the governor's name. The statement highlighted the government's focus on genuine support for citizens through various initiatives under the administration led by Ahm Aliyu.

It also stressed the importance of consulting properly before attributing donations to the state governor. The government reiterated its commitment to improving citizen welfare through key areas like security, education, healthcare, and support for vulnerable groups affected by banditry in the state.
