Sokoto State Launches Bidding for School Upgrades

The Sokoto State Government has launched a bidding process for significant infrastructure upgrades in 100 schools across the state, as part of the "Adolescents Girl Initiate Learn Empower Project." The initiative aims to equip schools with digital teaching materials, solar power systems, essential furniture, and laboratory facilities. The bidding process was officially opened during a ceremony at the Agil Project office, led by Garba Nadama.

Professor Ahmad Ladan Ala represented the Minister of Basic and Secondary Education, while Dr. Sanusi Aliyu Binji, the Permanent Secretary, assured bidders of a transparent and fair procurement process.

He emphasized the government's commitment to quality and the rejection of substandard work. The event also featured remarks from various officials, including Dr.

Mansur Isah Buhari, who urged bidders to adhere strictly to contract specifications. The initiative is supported by Governor Ahmad Aliyu, who has been recognized for his ongoing commitment to improving the education sector in Sokoto State.
