Sokoto State Launches Bidding for School Upgrades

The Sokoto State Government has launched a bidding process for major school infrastructure projects aimed at upgrading 100 schools across the state. The initiative, part of the Agil Project, seeks to equip schools with digital teaching materials, solar power systems, essential classroom furniture, and laboratory facilities.

The bidding ceremony took place at the Agil Project office, officiated by Professor Ahmad Ladan Ala, the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education. Dr.

Sanusi Aliyu Binji, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, assured bidders of a transparent and fair process, emphasizing the government's commitment to quality and the rejection of substandard work. The event featured various stakeholders, including Dr.

Mansur Isah Buhari, the Agil Project Coordinator, and representatives from the State Agency for Mass Education. The bidding process aims to ensure strict adherence to contract terms and timely project delivery, with a focus on enhancing educational standards in Sokoto State.
