Soldiers Neutralize Two Terrorists in Kebbi Operation

On June 27, soldiers from the Joint Task Force, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Aliyu Danja, conducted an operation in Kebbi State, resulting in the neutralization of two suspected terrorists. The operation, named "Sabarumawa," was initiated based on credible intelligence indicating a planned attack on the Sabarumawa community.

Troops swiftly mobilized to the area and established a tactical ambush along the suspected route of the terrorists. As the terrorists approached, the troops engaged them in a fierce gun battle, leveraging superior firepower to overwhelm the attackers.

Following the confrontation, the troops recovered two AK-47 rifles, two magazines, 143 rounds of ammunition, and a motorcycle at the scene. Lieutenant Colonel Danja reaffirmed the military's commitment to sustained offensive operations against terrorist groups and urged the public to continue supporting security agencies with credible information to strengthen ongoing counter-terrorism efforts.
