Troops Neutralize Two Terrorists in Kebbi State Operation

On June 27, troops from the Joint Task Force, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Aliyu Danja, successfully foiled a planned terrorist attack on the Sabarumawa community in Kebbi State. Acting on credible intelligence, the troops established a tactical ambush along the suspected route of the terrorists.

As the terrorists approached, the troops engaged them in a fierce gun battle, utilizing superior firepower to overwhelm the attackers. The operation resulted in the neutralization of two terrorists, while other members of the group fled into the surrounding forest.

The troops recovered two AK-47 rifles, two magazines, 143 rounds of ammunition, and a motorcycle from the scene. Lieutenant Colonel Danja reaffirmed the military's commitment to sustained offensive operations against terrorist groups and urged the public to continue supporting security agencies with credible information to strengthen ongoing counter-terrorism efforts.
