Pitso Mosimane Becomes Africa's Highest-Paid Coach

South African coach Pitso Mosimane has achieved the distinction of becoming Africa's highest-earning football coach. He confirmed this status following a lucrative contract with Al Wahda in the Middle East, where he reportedly earns $368,000 per month during his short stint from June to November 2023.

This contract reinforces his reputation as one of Africa's most sought-after coaches. Prior to this, Mosimane enjoyed a successful tenure with Egyptian giants Al Ahli from 2020 to 2022, where he earned approximately $1.44 million per year and won multiple domestic and continental titles.

He then moved to Saudi Arabia to manage Al Ahli during the 2022-2023 season, reportedly earning $1.66 million. Mosimane's record-breaking earnings across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE highlight his tactical acumen and success, marking a significant milestone for African coaches on the global stage.
