APC Commends Ekiti Voters for Oyebanji's Re-Election

The South-West chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) praised the voters of Ekiti State for their overwhelming support in re-electing Governor Biodun Oyebanji for a four-year term. In a statement issued from the zonal public secretariat in Ibadan on Monday, Ayobami Afolabi, the APC's spokesperson, described Oyebanji's victory as unprecedented and indicative of the Nigerian populace's appreciation for quality leadership.

Oyebanji emerged victorious in the governorship election held on Saturday, defeating candidates from 13 registered political parties, securing approximately 90% of the total votes cast across 16 local government areas in Ekiti State. Afolabi emphasized that this victory reflects the people's faith in the APC and urged stakeholders in the South-West to revitalize development ideals.

He referenced the leadership philosophy of Chief Obafemi Awolowo and called for increased support for future elections, particularly for President Bola Tinubu, to ensure greater dividends of democracy.
