Student Enoch Sunday Maisamari Found Dead in Gombe

Enoch Sunday Maisamari, a 28-year-old student from the Department of Microbiology at the Federal University of Kashere, was discovered dead in stagnant water in Sabon Garin Yero Village, Akko Local Government Area. Maisamari had been missing since Sunday, having last been seen at a graduation party organized by final-year students of the university.

The police found his body on Tuesday morning and later contacted university authorities. A coursemate identified the body.

The Gombe State Police Command confirmed the recovery of Maisamari's body on Wednesday at approximately 9:30 a.m. The police reported that no visible marks of violence were observed on the body, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.

The body was taken to the General Hospital in Kashere, where he was certified dead.
