On Wednesday, a mysterious odour affected Ladi Apostolic Secondary School in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, leading to the hospitalization of no fewer than 30 students and staff members. The odour reportedly caused discomfort and breathing difficulties among those exposed. This is not the first occurrence; a similar incident in April resulted in the hospitalization of 30 students due to an unidentified substance.

Concerns escalated further in May when 100 students from various schools, including Ladi Apostolic Secondary School, were reported affected by exposure to an unidentified substance. Health officials and school authorities have initiated investigations to determine the source of the contamination.
