Students Encouraged to Pursue Engineering Careers

During a valedictory service at Baptist High School in Ede, Osun State, Mr Ibraheem Folarin Bello, FNSE, the immediate past chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, encouraged graduating students to consider careers in engineering. He emphasized that engineering can help solve societal problems, build infrastructure, and drive technological advancement.

Bello, who was the senior prefect during his time at the school, presented cash awards to outstanding students in recognition of their academic excellence, discipline, and commitment. He urged students with a passion for mathematics and science to dream big and work hard, stating that Nigeria needs competent and innovative young professionals.

Bello also reminded students that success is built on discipline, hard work, honesty, respect for others, and faith in God. Additionally, he presented a cash award to their Geography teacher, Mr Oba Adeeyo, in appreciation of his support during their education.
