TCN Schedules 10-Hour Power Outage in Ondo Communities

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a scheduled 10-hour power outage in Ondo communities, specifically affecting Okitipupa. This outage is set to occur on Tuesday from 8 AM to 6 PM.
Mr. Ndidi Mbah, TCN's General Manager of Public Affairs, disclosed that the planned outage is necessary for engineers to transfer power from the Ondo 132kV transmission line to the newly installed 60 Mega Volt Amper (MVA) 132/33kV transformer at the Ondo 132/33kV transmission substation. Due to this outage, the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) will be unable to supply power to its customers in Okitipupa during this period.
TCN has apologized for the inconvenience this outage will cause to electricity consumers in the affected areas.
