Tension Erupts at Garki Collation Centre Over Results

On Saturday, at the Garki Collation Centre in Abuja, tensions escalated following the announcement of councillorship election results. Party agents confronted INEC officials after they were allegedly denied the chance to verify the result sheets before the final figures were declared.

This incident occurred shortly after the conclusion of the chairmanship result announcement. The aggrieved party agents insisted on transparency and demanded to cross-check the figures in accordance with the polling unit results.

Video footage obtained shows the confrontations between the party agents and INEC officials, highlighting the unrest and protests from the agents who felt their rights to inspect the results were infringed upon prior to the official declaration.
