Primate Ayodele Calls for Okada Ban to Combat Terrorism

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangel Spiritual Church, has called on the Lagos State government to implement a ban on commercial motorcyclists, commonly referred to as Okada. He suggested that operators involved in nefarious activities should face a 30-year imprisonment sentence.

Ayodele expressed concerns about the potential for terrorist activities in Lagos State, warning that terrorists may be using Okadas to carry out their plans. He emphasized the need for the government to take decisive action to curb insecurity, stating that if Okadas are not banned, they could lead to increased violence and chaos in the state.

Ayodele also mentioned that the government should focus on apprehending Okada riders involved in criminal activities while allowing official riders to operate without fear of imprisonment. He warned that failure to act could lead to a rise in attacks similar to those seen in Ogun State, where tensions are already high.
