Terrorists Kill 20 in Borno and Adamawa Border Attack

On Tuesday, around 4 PM, terrorists attacked border communities in Borno and Adamawa states, resulting in the deaths of 20 individuals. The local government chairman of Askira Uba, Mada Saidu, confirmed that 11 people were killed in Pubagu, Borno State, while 9 lost their lives in Hong, Adamawa State.

The insurgents overpowered local security forces, launching an assault that involved open fire on residents, burning homes, and looting properties. Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers arrived on motorcycles and operated for hours, causing significant destruction.

Local vigilante groups attempted to resist but were outnumbered and ultimately fled. This incident follows a previous report on April 16, where Boko Haram terrorists killed four soldiers in the Mussa community of Askira Uba.
