Terrorists Kill 20 in Borno, Adamawa Border Attack

On Tuesday, around 4 PM, terrorists attacked border communities in Borno and Adamawa states, resulting in the deaths of 20 individuals. The chairman of Askira Uba Local Government Area, Mada Saidu, reported that 11 people were killed in Pubagu, Borno State, while 9 lost their lives in Hong, Adamawa State.

Eyewitnesses indicated that the insurgents overpowered local security forces, gaining access to the communities where they shot victims and looted properties. The attack lasted for several hours, during which homes and shops were burned.

Local security operatives, including vigilant hunters, attempted to resist the terrorists but were outnumbered and ultimately fled. This incident follows a previous attack on April 16, where Boko Haram terrorists killed four soldiers in the civilian community of Mussa within the Askira Uba Local Government Area.
