Three Children Found Dead at Native Doctor's Residence

In the early hours of Wednesday, three children were discovered dead at the residence of a female native doctor known as Ezenwanyi in Umuoduba Village, Ideani, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State. A fourth child was found unconscious and was rushed to a hospital, where they remain in critical condition.
The children, aged between six and 15 years, were found within the woman's compound, which also houses livestock. The identities of the children and the circumstances leading to their presence at the location are still unknown.
Following the incident, Ezenwanyi was taken into custody by operatives of the Ogidi Divisional Police Headquarters, in collaboration with community leaders. SP Tochukwu Ikenga, spokesman for the Anambra State Police Command, confirmed the incident and stated that the State Criminal Investigation Department has taken over the case for a thorough investigation.
