TikToker Oladimeji Ham in Custody Over Cyberbullying Case

Oladimeji Ham, a popular TikToker, is currently held at Kirikiri Correctional Centre despite a bail order granted by the Lagos Magistrate Court sitting in Ikeja. He was arraigned on six counts of cyberbullying and online harassment against Omowunmi Cynthia Aloba, the widow of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad.

The court has set stringent bail conditions, requiring Ham to provide two sureties with bank account balances of at least 700,000 Naira, and one surety must be a state civil servant with proof of current tax compliance. Until these conditions are met, Ham will remain in custody.

The charges stem from social media posts allegedly made by Ham between February and March 2026, which targeted Aloba and included claims that contributed to public hostility towards her following her husband's death in September 2023. Ham has pleaded not guilty to the allegations and denied the charges when he appeared in court, which has adjourned the case for further hearing.
