Tinubu Commissions Arterial Road N5 in Abuja

On October 2, 2023, President Bola Tinubu commissioned the Dape District section of the Arterial Road N5 at the Obafemi Awolowo Life Camp Junction, Ring Road III in Abuja. During the inauguration, which took place despite heavy rainfall, Tinubu commended Julius Berger Nigeria PLC for their world-class delivery and professionalism.

He noted that the project had been neglected for 10 to 15 years and had become a permanent feature of government budget excuses. Tinubu emphasized that the Dape District section was not inherited from previous administrations and was awarded to Julius Berger with a strict deadline of October 2024.

He stated that infrastructure is crucial for any nation's capital and expressed commitment to ensuring that the Federal Capital Territory functions effectively. Vice President Kashim Shettima and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, also attended the event, with Wike acknowledging the hard work of the construction firm and its management.
