President Tinubu highlighted Nigeria's need for assistance in power transmission, to which Chancellor Merz responded by pledging that Siemens is ready to assist, and Deutsche Bank will finance the project.

Both leaders expressed concern over the security situation in the Sahel region, with President Tinubu calling for the supply of helicopters to aid intelligence and reconnaissance efforts in the Sahel corridor.
