Babachir Lawal Claims Tinubu Has "Lost His Soul"

Babachir Lawal, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, stated in an interview with Symfoni TV that President Bola Tinubu has "lost his soul" since taking office. Lawal described Tinubu as a once-generous politician who provided significant financial assistance to individuals in need without expecting immediate returns.

He praised Tinubu's ability to identify individuals who could be politically beneficial in the future, stating that he had a unique gift for investing in relationships. However, Lawal expressed disappointment, claiming that Tinubu has changed drastically since becoming president, stating, "He has lost his soul." He noted that many who knew Tinubu before his presidency no longer recognize his leadership style, describing the situation as a calamity.

Lawal wished for Tinubu to return to his former self for the betterment of Nigeria.
