Tinubu Mourns Dotun Oladipo, Publisher of The Eagle Online

The President acknowledged Oladipo's extensive contributions to political journalism and digital media, emphasizing his role in providing credible information through both traditional and online platforms. Tinubu noted that Oladipo's career highlighted the media's importance in strengthening democracy by keeping citizens informed and holding public officials accountable.

He recalled Oladipo's founding of The Eagle Online after his tenure as Political Editor at PUNCH Newspapers and his leadership role as president of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers from 2017 to 2021. Tinubu extended heartfelt condolences to Oladipo's family, colleagues, and friends, praying for strength for his loved ones in this difficult time.
