Tinubu Promises Equitable Democracy Dividends in FCT

President Bola Tinubu declared that his administration will not rest until the dividends of democracy are equitably distributed across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Speaking during the inauguration of the Kuje Airport Expressway in Abuja, Tinubu emphasized the importance of infrastructure in improving daily life for residents.

He represented Vice President Kashim Shettima and promised balanced socio-economic development across the city. Tinubu highlighted the significance of the airport corridor, stating that it should not overlook communities nearby.

He urged the Federal Capital Territory Administration, led by Minister Nyesom Wike, to realize the administration's pledges and improve municipal services. Wike noted that the Kuje Expressway would significantly reduce travel time and stimulate economic activity.

The project, awarded in 2022, aims to connect major roads and enhance drainage systems within the FCT, ensuring that all districts feel the impact of government initiatives.
