Niger Delta Youth Assembly Lauds Idagbo's New Role

The Niger Delta Youth Assembly commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima for appointing Rt. Hon. Ochielegor Idagbo as Zonal Coordinator, Support Group Coordination, South-South, under the APC Presidential Campaign Council.

The assembly described the appointment as timely and strategic, emphasizing Idagbo's extensive experience in grassroots mobilization, governance, and legislative affairs, which would enhance political coordination across the six South-South states. National Coordinator Comrade Bedford Berefa Benjamin stated that Idagbo's background includes roles as a student union leader, Secretary of Council, and two-term Chairman of Bekwarra Local Government Area in Cross River State.

His tenure as Commissioner for Works and two terms in the House of Representatives, where he chaired the House Committee on Local Content, further equipped him for this new role. The assembly expressed confidence that Idagbo would effectively utilize his network and knowledge to support the APC and President Tinubu's political initiatives.
