Troops Rescue 47 Captives in Borno from ISWAP

Troops from the Joint Task Force North East, led by Captain Moham Goni, successfully rescued 47 captives in Borno. This operation was made possible by the relentless offensive operations conducted against ISWAP enclaves in the Lake Chad region.

The sustained pressure from ground and air offensives forced the terrorists to abandon their positions, creating confusion that enabled the victims to escape from prolonged captivity. The rescued individuals are currently receiving medical attention and necessary humanitarian support, coordinated with relevant agencies for their eventual reintegration.
