Two Pilgrims Die in Kano Road Accident Before Hajj

Alkasim Ibrahim Walawa, aged 48, and his mother Hadiza Garba, aged 73, tragically lost their lives in a road accident in Kano State while they were preparing to embark on a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia. The incident was confirmed by the Kano State Pilgrim Welfare Board, which noted that both victims were from Walawa Village in Kabo Local Government Area of Kano.

Alkasim is survived by two wives and seven children, while Hadiza is survived by five children. The board expressed condolences to the bereaved families, describing the incident as particularly heartbreaking as the victims were preparing for a noble spiritual journey.

The Managing Director of the board extended prayers for the deceased, asking Almighty Allah to forgive their shortcomings and grant them Aljannatul Firdau, while urging the families to remain steadfast during this difficult period.
