UNILORIN VC Applauds Emir for Inclusivity Towards Non-Indigenes

On Tuesday, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewol, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, commended the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr.

Ibrahim, for his positive disposition towards non-indigenes living and doing business in Ilorin. In a statement issued by the university's Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr.

Kunle Akogun, Prof. Egbewol described the Emir as a unifying leader whose reign has fostered significant development in Kwara State, particularly in the realms of jurisprudence and legal education.

The Emir, who became the 11th Emir of Ilorin in August 1995, has made notable contributions to the region and the nation. Prof.

Egbewol expressed gratitude to Alhaji Sulu Gambari, Chancellor of Bayero University Kano, for his fatherly role.
