APC Assures US Support Against Terrorism Will Not Compromise Nigeria's Sovereignty

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reassured that the United States' support in combating terrorism in Nigeria will not infringe on the country's sovereignty. Felix Morka, the APC's National Public Secretary, disclosed that both nations are collaborating to combat terrorism within Nigeria, focusing on ending violence and reducing the loss of lives.

The APC highlighted ongoing efforts to dismantle terror networks operating in Nigeria through close coordination with the US government. Morka emphasized the need to eliminate individuals and groups responsible for terror attacks, reassuring that President Bola Tinubu is committed to deploying necessary measures to address the issue.

Concerns about foreign military intrusion were dismissed, with Morka emphasizing that decisions are made through a close coordination process to ensure mutual agreement and ground implementation. The primary objective of the collaboration is to combat violence against Nigerians and repel terrorist activities effectively.
