Uwaleke Re-elected CMAN President, Aims for Economic Growth

Uwaleke was re-elected unopposed as president of the Capital Market Academics of Nigeria (CMAN) for a second two-year term during the association's second biennial conference held in Abuja. He emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between academia and industry to support Nigeria's economic transformation.

Uwaleke expressed gratitude to the members for their renewed confidence in his leadership and described his re-election as a call to deepen the association's contributions to the growth of Nigeria's financial market and broader economy. He reaffirmed CMAN's commitment to providing independent research and policy advice to support economic development.

The newly elected executive council includes Prof. Seth Akutson as 1st Vice President, Dr.

Moham Hussein as 2nd Vice President, and other key positions filled by various academics. Uwaleke also congratulated recipients of the association's fellowship award, recognizing their contributions to Nigeria's financial system.
