Hope Uzodimma Launches Media Campaign for Tinubu's Re-election

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has chosen to ignore remarks from Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, and is instead enhancing his campaign for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election. Uzodimma, who is also the Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum and Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, is implementing a grassroots media strategy to communicate Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Shehu Bala Usman, the RHA Director of Logistics, announced a new phase of this strategy involving a weekly media outreach on television channels. This initiative aims to educate the public on government policies, counter misinformation, and connect with voters.

Uzodimma has also established a nationwide communication structure, appointing 25 canvassers for each of the country’s 176,846 polling units, totaling 4,421,150 grassroots mobilisers. The Renewed Hope Ambassadors have previously launched a digital platform for policy updates and citizen engagement, further supporting Tinubu’s second-term bid.
