VeryDarkMan Sets Conditions for Police Investigation

Social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has outlined conditions for responding to a police invitation concerning allegations he made against Assistant Inspector-General of Police Moshood Jimoh, who oversees Zone 2 Command. In a statement from his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, VeryDarkMan expressed his willingness to cooperate with the investigation but emphasized the need for a transparent process to ensure public confidence.

The Nigeria Police Force invited him to the Force Criminal Investigation Department in Abuja to provide evidence supporting his claims. The police confirmed that the allegations had been previously investigated and were currently before a court.

They reiterated their commitment to due process and stated that AIG Jimoh had also been invited for questioning. VeryDarkMan's legal team requested that representatives from the Nigerian Bar Association and civil society organizations observe the interview to ensure transparency.

They affirmed that he has never opposed lawful investigations and is prepared to honor any legitimate invitation.
