VeryDarkMan Rejects Police Invitation Over Corruption Claims

Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has publicly stated that he received an invitation from the Lagos State Police Command but will not honor it. He accuses senior police officers of attempting to suppress his allegations against Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) Moshood Jimoh, whom he has accused of corruption through various online platforms.

VeryDarkMan claims that the police invitation is an effort to manage the controversy surrounding his allegations and insists that any investigation should be conducted by an independent body rather than the officers he is accusing. He expressed that he is willing to defend his claims before a neutral investigative panel.

VeryDarkMan has a history of rejecting police invitations, having previously declined to comply with a request related to a complaint against him in December 2023, citing the lack of disclosure of the complainant's identity. As of now, there has been no official response from the Nigeria Police Force regarding the allegations or the invitation.
