APC Chieftain Abdulfatai Weeps Over Aspirants List Removal

Abdulfatai, an APC chieftain in Kwara State, was visibly distressed and shed tears after discovering his name was excluded from the list of assembly aspirants for the upcoming elections in the Ilorin Central Mangaji Ngeri constituency. In a viral video, he lamented the perceived injustice and betrayal within the party, questioning why he was removed despite his years of loyalty and sacrifices.

His emotional response highlighted the shock and disappointment felt by aspirants who were not recognized among those indicated for the contest. In a separate political development, Ciroma Almajiri Joseph, an APC stalwart known as Hasken Southern Kaduna, announced his withdrawal from the Kaduna South senatorial district race on April 20, 2026.

He stated that his decision was made after extensive consultations with family, political associates, and community leaders, emphasizing the need to promote unity within the party and ensure political stability in Southern Kaduna.
