Man Fights Off Armed Robbers in Niger State, Shoots One

On a Friday at approximately 2 PM, David Emmanuel Adebayo withdrew 5 million Naira from Wema Bank and an additional 3 million Naira from Taj Bank in Minna, Niger State. While driving along Shiroro Road, he was ambushed by armed robbers who had allegedly been trailing him from the bank.

During the struggle, Adebayo managed to recover a rifle from one of the attackers and fired at the suspects, injuring one who subsequently escaped. The robbers abandoned a Toyota Corolla at the scene and fled with Adebayo's vehicle.

The Nigeria Police Force, represented by Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the incident and stated that investigations are ongoing to track down and arrest the suspects involved in the robbery.
