Police Uncover Militant Syndicate in Akwa Ibom, Village Head Declared Wanted

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has uncovered a militant and piracy syndicate, leading to the declaration of a village head as wanted. The police arrested a suspect, Samuel Geoffrey, who confessed to involvement in criminal activities.

Stolen items were recovered, including marine engines and household materials. Additionally, an illegal gun manufacturing factory was discovered in Ekiti, Itu Local Government Area.

Efforts are underway to apprehend fleeing suspects and dismantle criminal networks in the region.
