Wadada Urges Competence Over Sentiment in Nasarawa Elections

Wadada, a governorship aspirant, called on residents of Nasarawa to prioritize competence over ethno-religious sentiments in the upcoming elections. His statement followed the conclusion of his third and final leg of a consultative tour across the Nasarawa North Senatorial District.

During this tour, Wadada presented his legislative scorecard and outlined his agenda for the citizens of the 11 electoral wards in Akwanga Local Government Area. He endorsed the current state governor, Abdulahi Sule, and assured attendees that electing a capable governor is essential for sustaining the developmental strides achieved under Sule's administration.

Wadada paid homage to the traditional ruler, HRH Samson Gamu Yare, at the palace and emphasized the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence ahead of the 2027 general elections. He warned that electing individuals without legislative capacity would leave the zone disadvantaged, describing Sule as a servant leader who has kept faith with the people.
