Wafarninyi Launches 'New Adamawa' Vision for Youth Jobs

Mr. Wafarninyi, the governorship candidate for the Young Progress Party (YPP) in Adamawa State, formally launched his campaign in Yola, presenting his 'New Adamawa' vision.

He emphasized the need for job creation for youth and accountability in governance. Wafarninyi criticized the current leadership for underperformance despite the state's vast resources, particularly affecting youth and farmers.

He pledged to invest in skill acquisition, digital employment, agriculture, and small business funding. Wafarninyi committed to overhauling education and healthcare systems, rehabilitating primary schools, and equipping hospitals to ensure children's futures are not dependent on their parents' income.

He also promised to fix infrastructure, including roads, water, and electricity, to support farmers and enhance agricultural productivity. Wafarninyi assured that the YPP would publish budgets and track project execution to welcome public scrutiny and end secret contracts.

He called for unity among the diverse ethnic groups in Adamawa and urged voters to support the YPP in the 2027 general elections.
