Super Falcons Set for WAFCON 2026 Opener Against Malawi

Super Falcons head coach Justine Madugu has announced a strong starting lineup for Nigeria’s opening Group B match against Malawi at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco. As defending champions, Nigeria aims to secure a record-extending 11th continental title.

The lineup features a mix of experienced players and emerging talents, with first-choice goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie returning to the squad and captain Rasheedat Ajibade leading the attack.
