Thuggery: Kano Police Profile 718 Repentant Youths

The Kano State Police Command has identified and profiled 718 youths who have renounced thuggery and pledged to abandon the act. Assistant Commissioner of Police SID Abdulkarim Abdullahi disclosed that these repentant youths are part of the Safe Corridor program and are currently being held at the Bompai Police Headquarters in Kano.

Additionally, 597 youths have willingly submitted to the command, agreeing to lay down their arms and renounce violence. This initiative has been commended for its effectiveness in transforming the youth and building lasting peace in the community.
