He claimed responsibility for recent attacks against security personnel in Sokoto and Zamfara states, alleging that his group retaliated against actions that resulted in the killing of community members and the confiscation of livestock. Turji stated that they would continue to prepare for armed confrontation if necessary, emphasizing their willingness to defend themselves.

The video follows a deadly attack in the Isa local government area of Sokoto State, where security forces faced ambushes from suspected terrorists loyal to Turji.
