Peter Obi Promises Visa Reform if Elected President

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress, addressed a town hall meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Thursday. He asserted that if elected president in 2027, he would transform Nigeria significantly.

Obi explained that many countries deny Nigerians visas because wealthy nations are reluctant to welcome poorer individuals. He emphasized that once he completes his reforms, Nigerians would find it easier to obtain visas and would be less inclined to travel abroad, contrasting the current trend.

Obi stated, “No rich man will open their door for poor people, that’s why many countries are denying Nigerian visas.” His remarks reflect his vision for a reformed Nigeria that would enhance the quality of life for its citizens and improve international relations.
