Kenneth Okonkwo Switches Support from Obi to Atiku

Kenneth Okonkwo, an actor turned politician, has publicly stated his reasons for abandoning Peter Obi in favor of Atiku Abubakar. Okonkwo, who previously served as Obi's campaign spokesperson during the 2023 presidential election under the Labour Party, expressed his belief that Obi lacks the necessary qualities to lead Nigeria effectively.

Following his departure from the Labour Party, Okonkwo joined the African Democratic Congress and was recently appointed as a spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar's 2027 presidential campaign. He criticized Obi's decision-making abilities and accused him of betraying institutional trust, which led to a defamation suit against him.

Okonkwo emphasized that he would no longer support Obi and instead focus on Atiku's vision for Nigeria, highlighting Atiku's potential to bring value to the country and his ability to support various public figures.
