Woman Remanded Over Threats to Mohbad's Widow Wunmi

Shoyemi Titilayo was brought before Magistrate A.I. Alaka on a five-count charge related to allegations stemming from a TikTok broadcast that targeted Wunmi, the widow of late singer Mohbad, and her son, Liam Aloba.

Titilayo was arrested on Tuesday and will remain in custody until bail conditions are met. Prosecutor Irorere Osas stated that the offences occurred between August 2025 and March 2026 along the Lagos-Sango Road in Lagos State.

The prosecution alleged that Titilayo conspired with others, who are still at large, to disturb public peace, an offence under Section 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015. One count involved a live broadcast where Wunmi was accused of killing her husband, which could incite public fear.

Titilayo also allegedly called for public action against Wunmi and her minor son. This case follows previous legal actions against individuals who made similar accusations against Wunmi regarding Mohbad's death.
