Woman's Body Found in Plateau River Sparks Outrage

On Tuesday, residents of Bukuru in Plateau State were shocked to discover the lifeless body of a woman dumped in a river. The gruesome discovery prompted expressions of disbelief and outrage among the community.

Tina Gabriel, a resident, confirmed the incident, describing it as a terrible act of murder, and called for justice for the victim. The police have been notified, and an investigation is currently underway to identify the deceased and apprehend those responsible for the crime.

The spokesperson for the state police command, Alabo Alfr, did not respond to inquiries regarding the discovery. This incident follows a similar occurrence in Pankshin local government area, where residents expressed outrage over the discovery of aborted twins found in a polythene bag.
