Kalu Warns Against Election Rigging in Abia for 2027

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North in the National Assembly, has declared that the manipulation of election results from private residences will not be tolerated in the upcoming 2027 elections. Speaking at a gathering of the All Progressives Congress (APC) support group in his hometown of Igbere on November 2, 2024, Kalu expressed his commitment to ensuring fair electoral processes in Abia State.

He criticized the recent local government elections won by the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), labeling them as not credible. Kalu warned that the sabotage experienced during the 2023 elections should not be repeated.

He also took a swipe at Governor Alex Otti, accusing his administration of failing to achieve significant progress and describing claims of success as mere propaganda. Kalu urged APC members to unite and work towards supporting President Bola Tinubu's administration, emphasizing the importance of a strong presence in the government house in Umuahia.
