Yobe State Awards Contracts for Key Road Projects

The Yobe State government has awarded contracts for three significant road projects to enhance infrastructure and transport within the state. Engr.

Umar Wakili, representing the state government, signed the contracts during a ceremony. The projects include the repair and asphalt overlay of the Kalallawa-Kaliyari road, awarded to Triacta Nigeria Limited, and the reconstruction of the Tetteba-Gulani road, a seven-kilometer stretch, also awarded to Eleg Construct Nigeria Limited.

Additionally, the seven-kilometer Damagum-Gubana road project was awarded to EEC Nigeria Limited. During the signing ceremony, Wakili emphasized the administration's commitment to expanding and modernizing critical infrastructure to address transport challenges, improve community access, and support economic growth.

Mr. Adamu Sallau from Eleg Construct Nigeria Limited expressed gratitude for the trust placed in the contractors and assured that the projects would be executed according to the approved specifications and completed on time, maintaining high standards of workmanship.
