Abba Kabir Yusuf Commissions 40 Refurbished Kano Buses

On Wednesday, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State commissioned 40 refurbished buses belonging to the state-owned transport company, Kano Line. This initiative is part of the administration's broader agenda to strengthen public infrastructure and create employment opportunities while addressing transport challenges faced by residents.

During the commissioning ceremony held at the Kano Government House, Mustapha Muhammad, the governor's chief press secretary, highlighted the government's commitment to restoring efficiency and dignity to state-owned enterprises. He emphasized the importance of proper management and maintenance of public assets as part of job creation initiatives.

Governor Yusuf urged staff at the state transport company to ensure proper maintenance of the vehicles and to fulfill their duties professionally. He assured that the administration would continue to invest in the transport sector to drive sustainable development and improve the welfare of the people in Kano.
