ZLP Candidate Dan Nwanyanwu Promises Security Reforms

Dan Nwanyanwu has emerged as the presidential candidate for the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) during the party's national convention held in Abuja. He has pledged to prioritize security and anti-corruption in his campaign agenda for the 2027 elections.

Nwanyanwu highlighted that insecurity has become a significant obstacle to national stability, weakening public confidence in the government and hindering economic activities. He criticized past administrations for failing to address the root causes of insecurity and emphasized the need for a robust response to violent crime, including terrorism and banditry.

Nwanyanwu proposed strengthening intelligence operations, enhancing inter-agency coordination, and reforming law enforcement institutions. He also committed to strict enforcement of anti-corruption laws, stating that public funds meant for development should not be diverted for private gain.

Furthermore, he linked corruption to Nigeria's infrastructural gaps and pledged to prioritize youth development and job creation as part of his agenda, urging unity among Nigerians to overcome ethnic and religious divisions.
