110 Educators Trained to Enhance School Administration

The Universal Basic Education Commission, in collaboration with the Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board, conducted a four-day capacity-building workshop in Calabar, training 110 head teachers and principals on quality assurance procedures aimed at strengthening school administration and improving teaching and learning outcomes. The workshop, themed ‘Improving the Capacity of School Leaders on Quality Assurance Procedures for Effective and Efficient School Administration,’ was organized by SUBEB’s Department of Monitoring and Evaluation.

At the closing ceremony on Tuesday, Executive Chairman of SUBEB, Mrs. Fedelia Okpo-Ene, represented by Board Member I, Joseph Ogar, stressed the significance of continuous professional development for school leaders. Ogar urged participants to apply the knowledge gained to enhance school administration and learning outcomes.

Archibong Okon, Director of Monitoring and Evaluation of SUBEB, encouraged participants to implement the lessons learned to boost effective leadership in school management.
